“As a young woman, I was deceived into marriage by an illegal alien from Mexico. Less than two years into our marriage, I discovered that the man was homosexual and had married me in a selfish pursuit of a Green Card. The entire experience was traumatic and life-changing.

I did everything in my power to notify the federal government of the fraud and stop the Green Card process. I sent letters, knocked on doors, and even made phone calls. Nothing worked. USCIS even waived the marriage interview and approved my I-130 petition regardless of my correspondence. I felt shocked, dismayed, and hopeless.

I reached out to countless immigration attorneys but not a single one would take my case. I realized very quickly that there was little to no help for victims in my situation. All the immigration attorneys I spoke to told me that they work in favor of the illegal alien and that they also did not have any experience with cases like mine.

Then I contacted Attorney Brown at Codias Law. He listened to my story, educated me on the laws and the process, and explained how the law applied in my case. He was particularly helpful in educating me about the value of an annulment in the immigration process.

Attorney Brown fought hard for me. Since the petition had already been adjudicated, he helped file an appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals. He also helped prepare a notification to appropriate DHS officials regarding the facts and fraud in my case.

Eventually, Attorney Brown helped me to, among other things, leverage an annulment to stop the Green Card process in its tracks. He not only helped me fight back against a fraudster, he helped me fight against an unresponsive federal bureaucracy.

Today, thanks in part to the work of Attorney Brown, I have been able to turn this chapter of life. His work played an invaluable role in allowing me to move on with my head held high towards a brighter future God has planned for me.”

“When I sponsored my immigrant wife for a Green Card, I was unaware of the full financial implications for doing so. After discovering that my wife was leading a double-life, I became particularly concerned about my liability exposure. I did not know what to do or how to do it, until I spoke with Attorney Brown at Codias Law.

Attorney Brown made it extremely easy for me to self-schedule a consultation and communicate with me about my case. He provided direct access to his email address, mobile number, and even his calendar.

Less than two weeks after my initial consultation, I received confirmation from USCIS that my petition had been automatically revoked and my liability terminated. He provided clarity and stability during a time of profound uncertainty. Ultimately, he saved me a ton of aggravation.”

“My husband is a 100% service-connected and care dependent disabled Marines Corps veteran with two Purple Hearts and stage 3 colon cancer. After Russia invaded Ukraine, out of the goodness of our hearts, my husband and I sponsored a Ukrainian national for the Uniting for Ukraine program. Unfortunately, this decision led to our own humanitarian crisis.

After arriving in the United States, the Ukrainian national began mentally and financially abusing us, even demanding cash payments and refusing to leave our home. She claimed we had to pay her and provide free lodging on the basis of an affidavit of support. This caused severe stress and additional health problems for my husband and me, including an emergency room visit. We eventually fled our home, incurred the additional cost of a separate apartment while on a fixed income, and were forced to sue the Ukrainian in state court to repossess our own house.

We were desperate for help. We wrongly assumed that someone from the government would step-in and protect us. Unfortunately, nobody lifted a finger, until we found Codias Law. Their website was the only place we found that provided useful information and context for victims of immigration fraud. Attorney Cody M. Brown helped us immediately understand what was happening, why it was happening, and what we could do about it.

Attorney Brown worked collaboratively with our local attorney to prepare the legal research and analysis related to the federal immigration issues. His exceptional legal skills helped us secure a court order defeating two contract-based claims based on the federal affidavit of support.

As importantly, Attorney Brown treated us like people, not merely legal clients. He genuinely cared about our well-being. He was interested in hearing every detail, and always responded promptly to our communications. He was professional, honest, efficient, courteous, and has excellent manners. It was very comfortable communicating with Attorney Brown. We always felt like we were in good hands. We wish there were more attorneys and people in this world like Mr. Brown.”

“I was exposed to a marriage fraud where I found out that I was used by my wife just to get the green card. Confused by such huge fraud and deceit, I didn't know where to start to report this marriage fraud to USCIS authorities.

Searching for help on the internet, I found the page ‘Codias Law’. After reviewing their organized and well-crafted page, I established contact with attorney Cody M. Brown in a first telephone appointment.

I can say that the attorney Brown is a professional of a very high level, someone who knows very well the immigration laws that, added to his professional ethics, respect, responsibility and honesty, guarantee the good support and legal guidance necessary to be defended and produce strong and necessary documentation to be presented before immigration.

I highly recommend the legal services of the ‘Codias Law’ firm and in particular attorney, Mr. Cody M. Brown.”
